Galina Miklínová, born on July 28, 1970, in Ostrava, Czech Republic, is a distinguished Czech illustrator and director renowned for her contributions to children's literature and animation. She graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague in 1997 and furthered her studies in animated film at Humberside University in the United Kingdom.

In 2000, Miklínová provided the cover illustration, illustrated endpapers, and internal illustrations for the Czech edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Harry Potter a Kámen mudrců). Her unique artistic interpretation brought J.K. Rowling's magical world to life for Czech readers. This edition has become a collector's item, with first editions being particularly sought after.
